Even though we don't have an Ikea in North Queensland, I occasionally browse their site for inspiration, or on the off chance that I can drive down one of these days for a shopping trip.
I was looking at side tables and come across this...
This is the 'Vejmon' side table from Ikea. It's birch veneer and is $199 in Australia. I don't like this table that much but it looked familiar. And, then I remembered!
It looks like this table I thought about using for a recent project...
This table is the 'Bahru' side table from Far Pavilions. I actually think this table is much nicer. It's solid timber, feels a little more graceful and has a nicer colour stain. Ironically, it's normally also $199, and is now on sale for $149.
Ha! Bet you never thought the more expensive item would be from Ikea.
Good find! I'll have to email you about my living room design and how it wound up...not exactly as I'd planned, but I'm still happy with it for now! And by the way, I gave you an award the other day!!
