My Entry - Progress Photos

A few months ago I posted a moodboard of my entry which I wasn't too keen on. I decided just to jump in and use what I had to spruce it up (and finally hang some art up after painting). It's looking much better than it was, although I'm sure it will all change shortly!

So here it is when we first looked at the house...

And the day we moved in...

And here it is now...

This photo shows off my rather large collection of armchairs! Two mustard yellow armchairs (one with a low back, the other a wing chair) and two timber chairs (these are fantastic because you can recover the seat in a matter of minutes so they change every few months depending on my mood!)

The little table was my grandmothers. The top was chipboard and very damaged so I replaced it with new MDF and painted it gloss cream. The posters are from my trip to France (I have eight of them, although I doubt I'll ever have a wall large enough to put them all up!)

The wall colour is Dulux Tranquil Retreat (although it is mixed in Taubmans paint). This is a really pretty light grey but it does throw a lot of bluey tones, particularly at night.

I feel like my house is actually starting to move along now! I'll share photos of the kitchen next week.

Just thinking about decorating our house scares me. I've never done it before and have no idea what I'm doing. Wish I was as creative and stylish as you are :)
