Very classic from the front, isn't it?
But perhaps you wouldn't guess that this was the rear of the property?
Once you step inside the house becomes the epitome of stylish minimalism with a monochromatic colour palette enlivened with bold bursts of colour.

What do you think of this transformation? Do you prefer the modern, or the classic? Regardless, I think you can agree there are some beautiful pieces in this home!

No way!! I would never in a billion years guess that this was the same house!! I love both modern and classic styles; it just depends on the house. With this one I def like the modern style much more than it's classic face. Very cool house!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great combination! I love both styles equally and love seeing a period home renovated this way. x KL
ReplyDeleteWow! Gorgeous home, I would live here in a New York minute!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the home old & new. I can imagine the home would just flow from one part to the next. The pops of colour are perfect. KP

This is my kind of home, If I ever get to build again this has so much I would love. I love its split personality.
ReplyDeleteI think I like a bit of a mix between the two. LOVE the yellow chairs and the white chairs on the zebra rug. Beautiful.

Can't wait to see pics from the new house... but this feature is so fun! I LOVE those yellow chairs in the dining room, I'm thinking of painting a few bentwood finds a similar color in our kitchen.
