After seeing all the beautiful buildings in Europe though, I have been feeling so inspired by their gorgeous exteriors and passion for using bolder colours. At home, the trend has very much become beige or white. While lovely and classic, sometimes something bolder would be nice!

My new place will be in an American Colonial/Cape Cod style and I'm thinking a lovely deep charcoal might be nice...

I like the last exterior combo the best. The black shutters really pop. I like bolder exteriors. Imagine being able to say "Ours is the one with the pink door" when directing ppl to your house!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the top two, nice bright bold colors :)
ReplyDeleteI'd go with charcoal and have a brightly coloured front door!
ReplyDeleteThe house used to be white..I now have a yellow house, blue door. I would now go darker, seven years later.Possibilities are endless, I think. Sounds like a great trip, Anna!
ReplyDeleteOh i love the pink so much...makes me want to paint my door n windows pink..my husband would not be too pleased for sure;)

I love the colourful houses of Europe. There is a town in Germany called Koblenz that is so pretty with every house being a different pretty colour.
ReplyDeleteOur house is yellow, white and grey.
I love your dark grey choice for your next house:)
