If you're tight on space a banquette is the perfect way to maximise your seating, without losing valuable floor space. Besides, they just look rather gorgeous! I was considering building one for our new place but the floor plan doesn't allow it. If you're considering your own though, here are some pretty styles to inspire you.

Hi Anna....you and I sure do like the same things lol....I love banquet settings as they're so comfy and stylish and like you said it saves heaps on space...I love the one pictured here by better homes and gardens and when we get round to building one day it's definitely something I'd like to put in and I love them wrapped around a corner next to a window....who doesn't want to sit at a window and stare outside at the view and get list in your own thoughts...maybe I should come work for you hehe xo
ReplyDeleteI love banquettes if the space requires it, ie. Tight on space. I prefer a smaller banquette with chairs on the other side. Banquettes that are too big can be a bit impractical (the shuffle in and out and everyone else have to shuffle out if you need out). But gosh darn they sure are pretty!
ReplyDeleteI would just LOVE to have a banquet setting in my house, I always find myself drawn to a "booth" in a restaurant and this would be like my very own booth haha! I especially love the last one :-)
