For the new display home I've been working on, I used subway tiles for the bathrooms as a feature tile - but they were black and grey.
Today on Pinterest I spotted another bathroom which uses a similar look tile as a feature, and doesn't it look gorgeous?

And I've had this powderroom toilet pinned for a little while now...

So, would you brave enough to try a black subway tile? Or do you prefer to stick with classic white?

Love the black/grey. xT
ReplyDeleteLove the dark tiles, but then I do like the dark colours anyway! I'm going to use a white subway (hand made wavy style) in the kitchen but I'm thinking of breaking it up every now and again with a band of square tiles in amongst the rectangular ones.... I think it will add texture to the overall look as I'm covering such a big wall.... although I'm also thinking that my kitchen plans are becoming quite experimental, which is slightly terrifying! Have a great week xx
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the dark subway tiles! I like the way they are blended with the white toilet and vanity with the parquetry flooring - it softens them. Classic but edgy!
